Spokane has a dark side; and nobody knows it better than Steve Oliver; who’s been writing about it for years. With the release of his first novel in 1996 Moody Gets the Blues Auntie’s was introduced to an entertaining new voice in mystery/thrillers.
Over the intervening years, Oliver has given us novels, anthologies (Stories for a Dead Night in Spokane is Still Deader Than Dead come to mind), and his historical reviews of crime in the last century (like Spokane Crime Stories 1908). Now, it’s time for something new.
On Thursday February 4th at 7pm the new Dark City Crime and Mystery Magazine will be unveiled at Auntie’s Bookstore during this special event you won’t want to miss.
The launch of this quarterly publication features local talent. Join us at Auntie’s Bookstore as Steve Oliver presents the best of the best in stories from the seedy side of Spokane.
